At Afghan Traditional Sweets, baking is more than a business — it's a way of sharing our heritage with the community. Each of our treats, from delicate Baklava to traditional Afghan Kulcha, is handmade with care using 100% fresh ingredients, free from preservatives and artificial colours.
Moving from Afghanistan to Australia in 2015, founder Sita Nabizada quickly noticed a gap in the community for authentic Afghan cultural foods. With a deep love for baking and a spark of entrepreneurship, Sita launched Afghan Traditional Sweets in late 2017 with just a small marquee, a table, and a few homemade treats.
